How does the price calculation work?
All prices are excl. VAT.
You pay per active employee per month: anyone marked active in Klox. Set someone to inactive and they stop counting from the next period.
Minimum billing amount: EUR 19/month per organisation (monthly) or EUR 15.83/month on annual billing (EUR 190/year).
With yearly billing, you get 2 months free, which works out to roughly a 17% discount.
Add-ons (terminal, extra worksite) come on top of the monthly amount. Upgrading to Compliance Plus can be done at any time.
You pay by card or by direct debit, confirmed once with Bancontact. With a yearly subscription you can also pay by invoice, on request. A kiosk purchase is always invoiced separately.
Pricing questions
Is there a free trial period?
Yes: 14 days free, without payment details. You choose a plan when you sign up, but you only enter payment details when you activate after the trial. You can cancel at any time.
What if I have fewer than 7 employees?
The minimum billing amount is €19/month. With 4 employees on Compliance (€2.90), you therefore pay €19/month. From around 7 employees onward, the per-employee price kicks in.
How much does the clock-in terminal cost?
The Klox Kiosk is available to order, with delivery from 1/11/2026. You buy it for €699 one-off plus €45/month maintenance, or lease it without deposit for €69/month over 36 months, each per device and excluding VAT. It works on both plans. Already a customer? Request it in Klox; otherwise use the contact form.
Can I switch plans later?
Upgrading from Compliance to Compliance Plus can be done at any time and takes effect immediately. Downgrading happens at the end of the current billing period.
Is a data processing agreement included?
Yes. The data processing agreement (DPA) is included by default in both plans. You don't need to request it separately.
