Append-only. Every correction is stored separately with reason, author and timestamp.
See every day who has worked
Someone forgets to clock out? You see it right away and get a notification. You fix it, and the reason stays visible. Your employees see their own hours and request a correction themselves. An overview for payroll or a file for the inspection: one click, as PDF or CSV.
Clocking in the way your business works
With their own phone, on a tablet or computer, or with a badge at the Klox Kiosk. Put up a QR poster per site and you know someone clocked in on location. Nothing to install.

online, the server stamps the time, not your device
Klox Kiosk: a fixed clock-in point at the door
A sturdy 10-inch wall tablet with an NFC reader below the screen, at the entrance. Your team clocks in with a badge or a personal PIN, no phone needed. Handy in hospitality, construction, production and shops with changing shifts. Per device, on both plans.
Available to order, delivery from 1/11/2026.
Order a kioskDoes the registration obligation already apply to you today?
Time registration is not just a 2027 story. For flexi-jobbers and part-time employees, an obligation already exists today.
Who works for you?
More than one answer is fine. We do not store your choice.
Tick what applies. You will see straight away what is already required of you today, with the source alongside it.
What the inspector reads
If the social inspection visits, you have nothing to look up or explain. One button produces the complete file per employee and period, readable by someone who has never seen Klox.
- Every entry with its origin
- When someone clocked in and out, and how: the phone, the kiosk or an automatic closure. No line without its origin.
- Every correction on its own line
- The raw entry stays put, the correction sits beside it with reason, author and timestamp. Nothing is changed silently.
- Five years back, in one file
- PDF to read, CSV to process. No manual work and no button to hunt for.
There is nothing to prepare. The file is a consequence of clocking in, not a separate task.
Still on paper, in Excel or with an old punch clock?
Switching is not a project. There is nothing to retype: Klox starts your register on the day you start.
- You paste your team in one go: one name and email address per line. Everyone gets an invitation right away.
- Your people clock in the same day, on their phone or a shared device. Nothing to install.
- You keep your old lists and files yourself. Klox does not import old hours and starts with a complete register from day one.

For which sectors?
Hospitality
Do you work with flexi-jobbers or part-timers? Then in hospitality a registration duty already applies today to part of your team.
What already applies in hospitalityRetail
Do you work with part-timers? Then a shop already has a registration duty today: every deviation from the schedule recorded and kept for five years.
What already applies in a shopAnd in every other sector?
Which rules already apply today depends on who works for you and sometimes on your sector: for certain cleaning activities and on certain construction sites, a dedicated attendance registration already exists (Check In and Out at Work, Checkinatwork). For construction and installation, manufacturing, transport and logistics, hair and beauty, security and cleaning, the self-check at the top gives a first answer for your employees.
Still have doubts?
Do I need a time clock or special hardware?
No. Your employees clock in through the browser on their phone or on a tablet or computer. The web app can be added to the home screen. The iOS and Android apps are still in development and are not needed to use Klox. Want a fixed clock-in point anyway? The Klox Kiosk with NFC badge is available to order, with delivery from 1/11/2026.
How quickly can I get set up?
Quickly. You create an account yourself and invite your employees; they can clock in right away. No installation, and the first fourteen days are free with no payment details.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the European Union, in a data centre in Germany. We do not store the data in Klox anywhere outside the EU and we do not sell it to anyone. A data processing agreement (DPA) is included with every plan by default.
Can I still adjust a record afterwards?
A raw clock-in is never silently overwritten. A correction is a separate, traced entry with reason, author and timestamp, so the original and the change both stay visible.
What does Klox cost?
From €2.90 per employee per month, with a minimum of €19 per month per organisation. Transparent, no quote required and no mandatory annual contract.
Does it also work offline?
Yes. If someone clocks in without a connection, Klox stores the clock action locally and sends it as soon as the network is back. Such a clock action carries the device's time and is marked as offline; by default Klox accepts them up to 24 hours old.
Set it up, and stop thinking about it.
Your people clock in, Klox builds the daily register, and your file is ready before anyone asks for it.
How you start
- 1You create an account, in a few minutes.
- 2You add your worksite and invite your people. They clock in straight away, there is nothing to install.
